London, England, Monday 3rd October 2011 - North-West London’s Sync Bar, has officially launched Bollywood music as part of it’s karaoke offering, a first for the UK’s leisure and hospitality sector. An official launch event will follow on October 31st to thank Sync Bar’s key supporters and customers, as well as an invite list of well known guests.
“Bollywood music has already found success in UK cinemas and in the UK charts, but there hasn’t really been a way to get involved like Bollywood Karaoke,” said Rishi Kotecha, General Manager at Sync Bar. ”We have beautiful karaoke rooms and the customer base locally, and so we saw it as a great opportunity to fuse both, giving both Asian and non-Asian customers a chance to get up and give it a go, with all the fun associated to a Karaoke night out at Sync.”
Sync’s trial period in September 2011, saw the venue test Bollywood karaoke in 3 of it’s 4 karaoke rooms, and up to a quarter of bookings have been for Bollywood karaoke so far from word of mouth alone. Sync will be launching its awareness campaign through print, Sync-Bar.com and it’s social networks from October 2011.
Sync now combines both mainstream and Bollywood karaoke with it’s signature Sync Sliders (Gourmet 2.5″ Burgers), a range of delicious cocktails and the ambience of it’s stunning up-scale bar ran by a team of customer loving (and often dancing) staff.
